Hi my friend Carter and I made a cool culture club about Ireland.  We had to dress up and bring along the national dish - we bought potato pancakes and apple cake.

in my level 3 maths were learning how to subtract
big numbers by using borrowing and renaming.

Today we were using adding fractions with unknown denominators. Also as you can see I
 was teaching the whole group my strategy.The strategy was whatever you do to the denominator you do to numerator.   Even Koka Ngaire ( my  teacher )  was sitting on the ground as well. I hope you enjoy:):)!

My Science Fair Project

What bread grows mould fastest?

In week 10 we are having a science fair at school. My friend Daniel R and I have  been working on a science fair project for a few weeks and this is ours - enjoy!

Mother's Day Card

Last week we made Mother's Day cards.  We took our photo, dyed the card and cut out hearts from cool paper.




For the inside we made a poem -
Line 1: Alliteration
Line 2: 3 adjectives
Line 3: Nickname
Line 4: Simile or Metaphor
Line 5: 3 word statement about our mum's.

My mum thought the card was awesome!  It made me feel good too.

Digital Timetable

I find the digital time table really handy cause You can chose out of a list of  activities. Also Koka Ngaire and matua fergus each do lots of workshops That we can

chose out of. Also we Don't have to sit on the mat 24/7 Every day we can just  do whatever we want. That's why I think the digital time table is handy.

read to self is a a activate that we can read to our self. Word work is activate that is boogle or movie unscramble boogle is sort of a crossword.  movie unscramble  is a scramble of words that are in movies.
